How can I delete an Individual?
How can I delete someone in Family Tree that does not exist? There is a person "Meeks", ID - LB34-YMQ, who is listed as a female, who was born on June 13, 1927. The record from which is person was created is incorrect in both the sex and the date. In fact, a male was born on June 14, 1927. James Ray Meeks.
Thank you

All you have to do is change the sex of "Meeks" to male, then merge the ID** with that of James Ray Meek (LB34-RY7). I would probably leave the birth source attached, but add a note to it explaining the true identity and correct date of birth.
This is just a case of poor indexing. Unfortunately, the record shows as "Edit unavailable", so the detail attached to it will remain for the foreseeable future, as FamilySearch does not make corrections to indexed records.
** If you have not carried out this process previously, after changing the sex on the page of "Meeks", go to James Ray Meek's page and click on "Merge by ID". Paste LB34-YMQ in the box and carry the process through from there.
You could just detach "Meeks" from any relationship with this family, but another user might come along and add "her" back as a family member. Carrying out the merge would be my preferred method of dealing with this error.
BTW - In direct answer to your question, you cannot delete "Meeks"! You can only delete an individual if you created their ID and are the only person to have worked on the record.
