When using the Search feature requires this much explanation, we have failed from a usability and design perspective. What user problems are the new Search designs trying to solve. That is not evident. I am an expert user and a specialist in Web design, and this approach is more than a little problematic. I can't begin to figure out how an inexperienced user would handle this let alone an expert user.
