Which type of device do you use? - CLOSED
UPDATE: This seemed to get nowhere useful. I've called a halt. Thanks to those who took part.
It seems that the new user interface was created to make use on mobile devices more user-friendly. Personally, I find this highly dubious. Nevertheless I wonder if we can take a straw poll of what users actually work on.
If you use a computer or laptop to do your family history research, Upvote this idea.
If you use a mobile device, tablet or 'phone, then Downvote.
We should soon get a pretty good idea of how many people use non-mobile devices.

I believe you can only "downvote" an idea if you voted for it, then changed your mind. So, you won't get the stats you require by the method you suggest.

Didn't know that. However the stats so far showing only 27 views and 5 upvote shows that there's not an enormous flood of response. I wonder what was the total of people who responded to the Search GUI Beta Test notification in July.

Perhaps this would work: Create two new ideas, "StrawPoll - If you like the new GUI Upvote this idea", and "StrawPoll - If you don't like the new GUI upvote this idea?
