Agree. Not a fan. As much as it looks sleek and modern, it is not as functional. What a pain having to click open each section before you can type your search data. I am less likely to use the site now due to the increased time required.

Besides my own, I have spent a lot hours and time on this site researching other family genealogies.
I have always recommended this site to others that wanted to research their own family genealogies because it was much more easier.
Definitely not now, changing it has made it difficult for me.
I would really appreciate it if it could be changed back to the way it originally was, otherwise I guess I may as well go ahead and pay Ancestry to use their site.
There's no point in recommending others to this site because if I can't accomplish anything, I sure can't teach others anymore.

The old system worked well but you had to change it!!
Each search i have done on new format gives me exactly 245 pages of results ignoring the fact that i have specified exact state or county.
Please listen to users.

@Marian Mincher and all others who wish to provide formal Feedback about the new look of the Search Historical Records page and the results pages, please feel free to go to Ideas in the Community to share your feedback. This is the best place to offer information about your personal experiences where other guests can vote on your comments.
For some users, certain browsers still have a Feedback tab on the right side of the Search Historical Records and the results pages. This tab is an excellent way to get your comments back to the developers to share your experiences.
Just like with every change, some individuals will like the change and others will not want to "fix what is not broken", so your insight, experiences and feedback will help everyone who is doing research.

Because this concern is actually about searching in historical records, we are moving the discussion to the Search Help Center Category instead of the FamilySearch Community Category where others can view and make comments if they have similar concerns.
Please keep in mind that it will show as close on the FamilySearch Community page, but clicking the title will redirect you to the Search Category where the discussion with be open and active.
Also, please remember that there are many categories in the Help Center. If your concern is about one of the categories listed on the Community Help Center page, please use that category to see if someone else has already posted a similar question. This will often help you to find an answer to your concern more quickly if others have already posted a similar question.
