This new interface is terrible. Did anyone at all review it from a user's perspective? PLEASE - at least give us the option of using the old interface. The previous interface for Searching did not need any improvements!

I wish to express my support for the above. Posting comments is all I can do now that the search facility is practically useless and the results format is unworkable.

I agree with the above comments. The old interface was much better. It let you see your query, change it quickly and did not hide error messages. Please put back the old interface!!!!!

The only ones who benefit from the new interface are other content providers by the exodus of users from FamilySearch to their platforms. This update shows a callous disregard for the needs of the researcher by removing the simplicity and effectiveness of the original design in favor of obscuring research results and the ability to narrow focus within the same. If FamilySearch wants to lessen their server load by driving away users then this is a master stroke. With this interface change I cannot now recommend their service to -anyone-.

This interface is terrible and has made me stop using this site. Please put it back, or at the very least give us the option to switch the interface. This new one is completely unuseable.

This site is so confusing I can't even use it anymore. It was so easy before, why did you ruin it. Obviously the people running this site never use it or they would see how bad it is. SO DISAPPOINTED !!!
