Adding FamilySearch records interface update: What were you thinking?
It is not that the old "add sources" interface did not need improving, but this update is truly bad. What on earth were you thinking? Any real usability testing? Didn't think so. "Genus Design" only goes so far. Please, please, please, please before you foist these bad design ideas on the poor end users, (don't just rely on your product owners might think a new design is awesome), why don't you instead get a qualified user researcher on staff and do some objective usability testing. This is 2021, come on man!

I fully support your observations. I have struggled and now concluded that I cannot use the new format with any degree of success. If I really persist, it will take probably more than ten times longer to achieve what I could previously manage with ease. I am desparately trying to find an old link with some key element in the URL that will allow me to use the old interface by the back door. If I cannot, then I will be compelled to use Acnersty instead. Perhaps that is the intention.
