I do have MacDonald in my line but on my Grandmothers side NOT my Grandfather Morrison side.

We understand the challenges of using a universal family tree, and that there can be assumtions of a relationship that do not exist.

However, at the same time there can be relationship of which we are unaware.

Before you remove these folks about whom you have a concern we would recommend you open up their Person/Detail page and by using View my relationship, you can see if in fact Family Search shows a relationship.

If these McDonalds do not belong to your family, you may remove them .

If , as a child, they are attached to incorrect parents, search term would be correcting parent child..

Thank you Nida. I was able to correct the names on my fathers side. I do however have relatives on the MacDonald side which I have a lot of certificates to prove relationship. I just don't want to go through these mistakes again. It's very difficult to change. Thank you for answering me. I will make sure that I have the right connections moving forward.
