PROBLEM WITH SEARCHES
We received another complaint from a FamilySearch user. Hias comment was "looking for birth if Johannes Jost vesper, 1820 in Essen Germany. i eventually found a birth box to select - i got 12 IMMIGRATION records with a birth date, no place, no parents. HE DID NOT IMMIGRATE. WHAT USE IS THIS TO ME. i loved the old version, used it very frequently, but now COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. TELL ME WHAT TO DI."
This is about the 5th person to voice this complaint.

I do not like the new format at all. It is visually confusing, and I cannot find what I need without clicking through multiple menus and entering data over and over again. Can you please return to what was a much simpler and cleaner user interface? This is TERRIBLE.

Is anybody listening to this reaction ? The users don't want the new search interface. The users don't want the new results format. Without users the system is just a big heater.

I agree, resultit's much harder to understand the results and use the filters now. Keep having to enter the same data over and over for it to get there. The day before the new format started I found a Census records of a family member I'd been searching for a long time, found it in less than a minute, in the old format. The next day it took me 30 minutes with the new format, not exagerating.

I have had intermittent results from the new format. I have been on the Isle of Man record pages for years and have never found so many spinning wheels as I have this past few days. One day it seemed not too bad and yesterday and this morning virtually all spinning wheels. Is there a problem with the Isle of Man data in particular, or have I just not yet figured it out?
