Can a notice be put on the opening screen of each batch that EACH person in an obituary must be indexed? The majority of the batches that I have reviewed so far have only indexed the deceased. Obviously they are not reading the project instructions, so a note on the opening screen of each batch might get their attention. Thanks!

Thank you for your idea. The following will give you an idea as to how to make a suggestion like this:
The best way to do this is click on Feedback while in a batch, or at the bottom of FS, then click on Go To Discussion Board, then on Indexing. This will take you to the Ideas page for Indexing; there is a blue button to the left side which says New Idea; if you click on this you can create an Idea Title and put in a message for your idea.

I would also like to add this--there is the Labs option, which is activated by clicking on Help (while in a batch), then on Labs, then click the Active box. This way, if you would like you can click on Reindex Batch and then you can click that the indexer needs training; but to always click to Keep the indexed data.

I agree that the BEST way to alert FamilySearch to this problem is to use the Reason to Reindex Batch forms found in Labs. When they have to look at a bunch of these, maybe there will be a pop-up. So far I sent 4 of 6 back. However, I am wiping out the data because I don't want the next indexer to get confused or have to add multiple records to the batch. Every version of every indexing attempt is saved, so "they" should be able to see that when they look at the reason for reindexing form.
Do you know what scares me even more? That the batches I just indexed with well over 60 names and 25 names just might find a reviewer who doesn't know that we index every name.
