  1. If a person changes their displayed name for their account - does all their previous contribution names change as well? A: Yes, if user changes current FamilySearch account name it will change name on contributions.
  2. If a person submits a Gedcom under one name and then changes their username does the username change on the submitted gedcom? Have not tested
  3. I can realize that if submitted to PRF perhaps those older submission names would not be updated? Needs someone with knowledge about PRF submissions and whether they are attached to current FamilySearch accounts.

I am just trying to figure out how to send a message to an old PRF user if they currently have a different username. It appears you cannot just type in the name of a user and create a message - you have to select them initially from within the Tree.

Good questions. I suppose one way to get answers is to create a test account and try things.
