Does this batch look like baptisms? UK, England, Middlesex—Parish Registers, 1539–1988 [Part B][MSPC-KX8

The other images don't lend additional information. It doesn't look like it would be burials to me, though that is what was highlighted when I opened the batch.

Thanks for your help.

Baptism - I agree it is ambiguous.

I thought a way to check (given that the reference images are no use) was to select a faily unusual name in the index and see if there is anything online (and yes I know that we do not take data from other databases).

I found a baptism record for Henry Walter Ivory for 23 Feb 1818 on Ancestry.com. The entry is from a completely different image and is unambiguously a baptism record. So it is pretty clear that this is an index of baptisms.

    cheers

Thank you for your question and for including the share batch information. These are indexes to baptisms. They should be indexed using the baptism/birth/christening form because they include names and dates.
