I am seeing myself and several living family members listed as deceased. How can I fix that?
I've asked The user to mark my grandmother as living when I stumbled upon a duplicate, but she hasn't changed the information and then recently I found many more names including myself that are listed as deceased.

Brianna,
This article from the Help Center should help you.
It explains the importance of privacy for living individuals, and the process of changing a record marked deceased to living.
Best wishes as you correct these records in Family Tree.

Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Unfortunately, it happens ...
Short Answer: "Edit" the "Death" for each individual/person concerned, "Changing" the 'Status' to "Living".
IF, you "Edit" the "Death" for each individual/person concerned, "Changing" the 'Status' to "Living", adding a "Reason Statement"; being, 'Reason This Information Is Correct'; THEN, that "Creates" a REPORT directly to 'FamilySearch'; whereby, 'FamilySearch' will investigate; and, if 'FamilySearch' agrees with you, the 'Status' of the individuals/person WILL be "Changed" from "Deceased" to "Living"; thereby, the individuals/persons will be TRANSFERRED to the "Private Spaces" of the User/patron who "Created" them; and, they will NO LONGER be "Public".
Here is a "Knowledge Article" in 'FamilySearch':
How do I change the status from deceased to living in Family Tree?
I hope this helps.
