Need help deleting a non-existent person
Someone created a duplicate record for my mother. But in the duplicate record they listed my mother as being deceased, which she is most definitely not. I tried to delete the duplicate, but it won't let me because the duplicate record was created by multiple people and it said I need to use the Contact Us to get the record deleted.
So how do I do this? The record is G4XP-LQF

You can change a person from Deceased to Living by clicking on Edit to the right of Death on the persons page under Details. Enter a reason statement in the box that says Reason This Information Is Correct so the original contributor will not change it back to deceased. When you change a person from deceased to living, a message is sent to a specialized team for review. Once you change your mother, G4XP-LQF, to living, you should not be able to see that record again since the only person who can see a living person is the person who created the person in Family Tree.
The only time you can delete a person is if you created the person in Family Tree and no one else has contributed to that person. In other words, if I create a person in Family Tree and then someone else add a source or vital information, I can no longer delete the person. The way to get rid of a person is to merge them with a duplicate person. Even after a person is merged, they are still hidden in the system and can be restored if they were merged by mistake.
