I am searching for Joseph Carey/Cary's will in Dutchess Co., NY Will Book D, page 540.

Has this record been filmed or digitized?

I am also searching for the title and page of the church record for the birth of

Edward Allen, born 26 Oct 1633, in Tutbury Staffordshire, England to James Allen and Mary Greet.

@Anita Schmidt_1 Here is how you can find the Will books for Dutchess County, NY in the FamilySearch catalog:

    1. Sign in to FamilySearch.org.
    2. Click Search and then Catalog.
    3. In the place box, enter United States, New York, Dutchess. Click Search.
    4. In the list of Search Result topics, scroll to United States, New York, Dutchess - Probate records (17) and click that one.
    5. You can look at the specific titles for ones that seem promising to you. I like to look for one where the author is not a person, but a government organization since those are more likely to have images of the actual records. If that makes sense to you too, scroll down to New York, Dutchess County wills, 1751-1903; index, 1790-1905 and click that title.
    6. At the top you see a red message about these being part of a larger record collection, New York Probate Records. You can click this link and browse the images using waypoints in the collection. Or you can scroll to the Film/Digital Notes section and find Wills Vol. C-D 1806-1815. In the format column, click the camera icon and you can browse the images.

You can also search the catalog for records for Tutbury, Staffordshire, England in the same way. You'll find Church records in the results list, but clicking to look at them, I'm not seeing any for as early as 1633. Others with more experience researching in England might be able to point you to some good resources.

You could also go to the FamilySearch wiki page for Tutbury, Staffordshire Genealogy (link below). It has a nice table of parish records that various webiste have. Findmypast.com is probably your best resource for British records, since that is their focus. They are a subscription website. Most subscription sites have free trial accounts so you can try them out before you subscribe. Might be worth exploring.

Wish you well in your research.

Thank you for the England reference. Unfortunately, he was born in 1633, not 1638.

Is there no film for Dutchess County, NY records?

@Anita Schmidt_1 Did you do the catalog search for Dutchess County in the catalog? There are many digitized microfilm records you can search there. Step 1-6 in my first response to you will get you to the will book you mentioned. But there are lots of other records available too. Check it out.
