Family Search Error 1.JPG

is there a way to send you a screen shot

Today I was searching the records for James Zamastil, and the results were all surnames that start with the letter M

I know you have the record, because I found it previously and make a copy. It only did this today ...all day. So it is an internal tech error that needs to be fixed please. thank you

    @Mrs. S.M. Randall-Friday We understand your concern about not being able to locate the record for James Zamastel using the Collection. We will forward this problem to the appropriate people to solve.

    We have been able to locate two records that you may be trying to locate.

    James Zamastel in the U.S. Census 1910

    You may also need to enter the last name as Zama*

    You may be able to find them by going to the Search menu and selecting Records, not Collections.

    Enter the name you desire and other limiting search limiters.

    We wish you success in your FamilySearch work. If you need further assistance please reply here.

    Response to genthusiast: Yes, you used the Search Records, the original question is using Search Collections. That is my observation anyway.

    You can go to the Search Records, enter in James Zamastil, and select Collections, select United States Census, 1910 and you get names that begin with "M".

    @Mrs. S.M. Randall-Friday

    I found that using Alternate Names search with filter for 1910 US Census:

    James 'Zamastel' (exact option enabled on Last Name)

    Alternate Name: Last Names: 'Zamastil' (exact option enabled on Last Name)

    and Alternate Name: Zamast*

    Filter Results (22)

    I wish I had the time to do that. However, there are to many recent issues, and I am not well.
