Presentation on Search algorithm
How does Search decide rankings of results?
What search terms are most important? Name? Birth Info? Residences? Other family members?
What do exact searches actually consider exact to mean?
What wildcards are available and how do they work?
What is the most effective way to filter results?
What is the most efficient way to use the new Search page?
How do I get the results I want to the top of the list?
Why are there always so many results that don't seem to have anything to do with my search terms?

@don martin thomas, I think you misunderstood something here. This was a request for the upcoming RootsTech that someone from FamilySearch give this presentation. Certainly not me! I have no more connection to FamilySearch than you do and have nothing to do with updates to the FamilySearch website.
Since the new search page is probably not going anywhere, it would be nice if the people who did develop it explain why the changes were made, what advantages it has, how to use it efficiently, and why people get unexpected results.
