My 3 x great grandfather was married twice. He also had a relationship with another woman and fathered 4 children with her. These children have been added to one of his wives with whom he only lived for 2 days and the birth certificates do not show her name as mother. How can I correct this error.

@DHARRY1 In essence you will want to put the 4 children with the biological mother and your 3rd great grandfather. You will want to remove the 4 children with whom he lived with for only 2 days.

However here is a link that can also help.

Show the marriage dates for both of his marriages, then the marriage will appear in chronological order. Hopefully this will help.

The easy way to do this is:

    1. Detach the 2nd wife from this man and the 4 children.
    2. Attach the 2nd wife to the man as another spouse.
    3. Add the mother of the 4 children.

All steps are done from the man's profile.
