I can't do her Temple work because it says I need more information and I do not know what to do.

Thank you, Danyla Wright

    Hi Danyla.

Re Eliza Catherine Heldreth No. KCPC-5P9:

She had been entered incorrectly as a male in a couple of instances. That has now been resolved and her ordinances appear correctly

It does not say that you need more information or that you need to do anything to her record. It says, with a bit of clarification added:

    • This person's ordinance status is not available. Please contact FamilySearch Support if you are a relative and need more information [about why they are not available and if you need this record fixed.]

Your posting here should get the attention of a moderator who can forward this to the proper department to get the page fixed and either display previously competed ordinances correctly or get them to shows ready to be requested.

If by chance your title does not get the right person's attention within a couple of days, try reposting under the Temple section of Q&A/Help Center here with a title such as "Eliza Catherine Heldreth No. KCPC-5P9 - "Ord. Not Available" - Needs fixing.

There are several things that create the Need for more information request.

Format names: Certain words and symbols, if used as a name, prevent you from reserving that ancestor's name for temple ordinances. You see a message asking for more information.

If a sealing ordinance is listed as "Needs more information," look for the invalid name in the name of a spouse or parent.

    1. Format standard dates
    2. Format standard places (United States not USA)
    3. You may have to type the date or place into the fields and choose the "Standard" option.
    4. Even when Standard dates and places appear to be standard there may be an extra space or symbol that might interfere with the standardization.
    5. Look for inconsistency
