All of the projects are marked advanced. I am just starting. How do I locate a beginner's indexing project? Thank you. Helen

To delete the projects you clicked on, you can manage them on your web indexing page. Under My Batches, click on the Manage tab. Click on the boxes of the projects you want to delete. When you do this, another tab will appear Return __ Selected Batches. Click it and the batches will be returned.

The other way to return batches is when the batch is open, click on Batch, and the choose Return Batch.

When you are looking for projects be sure to look in Web Indexing with Find Batches. Do not click on Find a Project. It is useless.

You can filter the results on the Refine Results screen - making sure they are in the language you want to index and also click on intermediate and beginner difficulty levels. This way you will filter out the advanced projects.

Currently there is one beginner project in the English language. However, there are many intermediate projects which are well suited for beginners: The City and Business Directories, the Naturalizations, and the Tax projects should be beginner friendly. Just remember to read the project instructions from the start to the finish (especially click on the General Indexing Guideline links), click on the examples, read the field helps found under the purple question marks when you click on a field, and have fun.

People here are very friendly and ready to answer any questions you might have!

    Happy indexing!
