An indexer is doing a lot of very good work that will get deleted!! the last 19 entries
are from the references page that is clearly marked. NOT FOR INDEXING . The work is excellent so it is a shame to delete it.

Is there some way to let the indexer know so they don't waste their valuable time on their other batches?

@LarryClark43 I think the only way currently that you can do something similar to that is via Help>Labs and enable Reindex batch with Reason. If you enable this, then go back to the Batch and Refresh your screen F5 - then when Reviewing a batch you can choose Batch>Reindex Batch and choose from the following reasons:
In this case, I think the 'User just needs training'> When record crosses images
because this reason is more closely related to educating them about Reference Images and the possible situation when records do cross over into a Reference Image.

It is a shame that they wasted their time indexing records that are not to be indexed. We need to be diligent in reading instructions carefully and asking for help when we are not sure of what to do. There is nothing we can do at this point but hope they learn with more experience.

We can fill out the form that @genthusiast 1 has posted and hope that FamilySearch contacts the indexer to provide some help. Here are some step by step instructions on how to access that form since some folks are having difficulty (mostly with the refreshing portion).
- With a BATCH open, click HELP
- Click on Labs
- Click Active on the form screen. (You have to refresh to get this to work - So...)
- Click Web-indexing at the top of the page.
- Open the Batch Again
- Click on Batch - Re-index Batch - And the form pop ups.
- Fill in the pertinent details. Decide whether to Keep or Delete the indexed data.
- Click Return Batch for Reindexing.

Thank you, I have saved your instructions in my notebook for future reference.
I already deleted the 19 entries and submitted that particular batch.
Thanks every one for your help

@LarryClark43 good idea to save the instructions to enable the Reasons to Reindex Batch form - you will most likely have to enable this function multiple times as, in my experience, it periodically "falls off".
I agree that it is a shame for people to be working with no feedback about the correctness of their work - there used to be feedback back in the days of "arbitration" but that has not carried through into Web Indexing
It is possible to misunderstand instructions as evident from my most recent question on the topic of indexing across images that are not within the same batch, ie using the Reference Images, If you search for this UK, England, Lancashire—Nonconformist Church Records, 1647–1996 [Part B] - record over two images you will find helpful discussion on the topic.
I had interpreted the red watermark instruction "For Reference Do Not Index" that lies over the reference images as meaning that information from these images should not be included in the batch being indexed. However, it seems this is not the case.
ps I couldn't see your batch because you have submitted so I don't know if it is the same issue or not. The batches referred to in my question will be available until 26 Sept.

I was reviewing one of the US military Rosters. All of those batches are just a single image. and the instructions say you may check for dates on previous pages but not to index.
Thank you for the information I am still learning so I appreciate all of the help and comments.
