Selecting the correct record from a set of images?
"This record came from this set of images. You will need to look through several images to find this record."
Great - I've found the page with my ancestor's information!
Is it possible to update the record with the page number/index to remove this warning? Or will I have to look through the images every time to find the right page?
Sometimes I'll spend several minutes trying to find the right page. I would be happy to improve these records, but I don't know if it's possible.
Thanks!

What I do when I run into something like this is I create a new source just like I would if I found a source on another site.
Above is a link to an article that has more helpful information. The article is about adding outside sources but it applies to our site as well when things are not linked up correctly. Here are the steps that are found in the article.
Steps (website)
- Sign in to FamilySearch and navigate to the Person page of the individual you want to attach the source to.
- Click the Sources tab.
- If the source is attached to this person, open the source:
- Click the source's title.
- Click Edit. If you created the source, you can click Web Page or Add a Memory. Skip step 5. Otherwise, you may have to add the link or image as a new source. Continue with step 4.
- If the source is not attached to this person, click Add Source.
- Change or enter information about the source. In the Web Page section, select where the digital copy is located:
- If it is on another website, leave Web Page URL selected, and copy the URL into the field.
- If it is on your computer or in your FamilySearch memories gallery, click Add a Memory.
- If the digital copy is in your FamilySearch Memories gallery, click Select from Gallery. Select the image you want, and click Attach.
- If the digital copy is on your computer, click Upload Memory. Find the file on your computer, and acknowledge that you have rights to upload this image.
- Click Save.

You can't update the index entry with the exact image number, but you can record it in your citations of the index entry.
If you attach the index to a profile in FamilySearch's Family Tree, that creates a citation on the profile's Sources tab. Go to that citation and click the title, then "Edit", and type the information about the exact image number in the "Describe the Record (Notes)" field. You can also copy and paste the URL for the image in this field, but it will not be "clickable", so Teresa's solution of a source citation for the image, separate from the one for the index, also has merit.
