Searching for birth registration
Hi! Please, I'm searching for birth registration (from church) of Casa Branca (São Paulo, Brazil) from the period of 1904-1914. I already have the link https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:939F-VJYT-H?owc=waypoints&wc=M5JQ-HZ7%3A372290301%2C372290302%2C372314801&cc=2177299 but it has not Casa Branca on the list. I would like to know if it does not exist on the website or if I'm doing something wrong.
Casa Branca was considered a city in 1872, so I suppose that the registers would be under Casa Branca name's on the link above.
Thank you in advance!

Hi @LILIANVIANA1.
It appears that you are searching for Church records for births in Casa Branca, Sao Paulo, Brazil for the years 1904-1914.
I did search in the catalog for records specifically for Casa Branca, Sao Paulo, Brazil, and discovered some civil registration records for the years 1928-1975. I was unable to find a set of Catholic Church records specifically connected to Casa Branca for the years you mentioned, but that does not mean they are not included in a larger collection of Catholic Church records. Generally, however, the way points will let you know if there are records from a specific locality in a collection.
One final thought I had is the idea that sometimes even when a city exists, there is not a parish within the city that would keep Church records. Often records are kept in a more centralized location. In the Wiki article we used for our continued research we discovered that earlier records can be held at the diocese, with more recent records still kept in the local parish. To try to locate the mailing address or e-mail address for a diocese or local parish you can consult:
You can read the entire Wiki Article about Brazil Church records at the following URL: https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Brazil_Church_Records
I appreciate your question but I was unable to find the specific records you are looking for. I do invite you to use the Catholic Directory for Brazil to see if you can find information that might be helpful in your research.
