Digitizing microfilm 1920779

I am not connected with Family Search
The catalog reference is https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/results?count=20&query=%2Bfilm_number%3A1920779
These show a DGS number which means the records have been digitised. However, there is an icon for a microfilm which means the images can only be viewed if you can locate a microfilm, which often will be only at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City.
However, there is a Search icon which means there are some Index records within the Family Search database. However, the Indexes may only be for PART of the microfilm, NOT the WHOLE microfilm.
The access situate is likely to be the same indefinitely.
If you want the images you may need to contact the original Archive, which using Google Translate appears to be the State Regional Archive in Košice (Košiciach) or perhaps there may be a pay website somewhere which has these images.

There are records from 1929 on film 1920779 Item 1 https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/693365?availability=Family%20History%20Library
Due to privacy laws, it is likely that public viewing online will not be possible until January 2030.
You may have noticed that Items 2-7 of this film are much older records. Unfortunately, just one record less than 100 years old means the entire film must be blocked for privacy reasons. Previously, FS has said that it may be able to divide films into several smaller films and publish the parts that can be published. However this is probably not going to happen for several years.

Thanks. I knew about locked icons, but didn't know it was restricted until 2030. Looks like I'll need to find a relative to go copy the originals in SLC for me.

I cannot be certain that it will be restricted until 2030- that's my best guess based on experience. 100 years is the norm for privacy laws in many countries. You would need to research Slovak law to be sure when the film will be unrestricted.
