When I click on a document on a individual, the paper icon on the right, it will not open.
The document opens, but it just bounces in and out so you can't read it. This has just started happening. I have tried two different computers at my home to no avail. I have never had this problem in all the years I have been using this site. The family tree icon works, the photo icon works. It is just the page icon that is not working.
Please help
Thank you

May be a temporary glitch with the system. How long has it been going on? Can you provide a screen shot to show precisely which icon you mean please?

Hi @Judith Schweitzer, to assist you with your concern, could you please provide your search path so that we can determine where you are working when you have the problem you are trying to describe.
We don't see "paperclips" on the details page of our ancestors so we have determined you are not describing working from the Details page of an ancestor.
We do see a broken "paperclip" when looking at a person through the Memories Viewer if a tag has been created for someone included in a memory, but if that tag has not been linked to an ID number of someone who is in Family Tree.
We see a paper clip when working in our Source Box with records that we have saved there to work with later. Source Box records can be linked to multiple individuals, and it would be helpful to know if this is where you are working.
Could you please provide additional information so that we can try to assist you. If you are working with Memories and tagging memories, the following knowledge article from our Help Center will be helpful.
This additional article mentions that attaching a Source that is in the Source Box does produce a paper clip icon in the Source Box.
We don't know if these articles will be helpful. It sounds like you are familiar with using the features at FamilySearch, and our final comment is that often problems that occur when using the features at FamilySearch are the result of a large cache of temporary files and cookies that hinder your computer's ability to process your commands. You may want to review and follow the instructions in this final knowledge article which discuss how to complete routine browser maintenance to eliminate problems that are related to this issue.
If your problem persists, please provide additional information and we will be happy to try to help you troubleshoot your issue.
