Ideas has become the poor relation of Q and A

Merging the different areas into one, overall Community section is being shown to be the best option, given the comparative neglect in addressing items posted here.

Yes, I hear the argument that the developers / engineers are checking out these pages for new ideas and possible bugs in the system, but (as they rarely respond) just don't find the evidence.

It really does not seem worthwhile posting problems here, when many of the Q and A moderators appear quite happy to escalate issues to the relevant FamilySearch sections, who need to deal with these reported issues.

Please try to wind-up Ideas (and possibly Groups) so we can have one, all-encompassing forum to deal with all our questions and issues.

    Congratulations, Paul!

You even got an "Under Consideration" tag. There haven't been too many of those in "Ideas"

All progress is change, but NOT ALL CHANGE IS PROGRESS.
