    Hi Donna,

    I would Google the name with the date, state & country of death. Go from there. Or, go to Find A Grave and enter what information you have

    Best wishes, Mary😎

    This was found on Find a Grave doing a search on Google. Might be your relative. Hope it helps.

    @donnamaybills1

    If the findagrave information indicated above by @DebDT is your Emily Francis Hogg you could do a Google search for funeral homes, newspapers, obituaries in the area of Trenton, Wayne County, Michigan, USA, which is where this Emily Francis Hoag died. There may be something in those searches that may help. Do you have an FamilySearch ID for your Emily Francis Hoag? If so there may be a research hint or other search records or even sources that would provide additional help in locating an obituary. Sometimes in the Memories of a person page there are pictures or scanned images of an obituary, funeral programs etc that may lead you to more information about her.

    Hopefully that will help in your detective work.

    Thank you for posting your question in Communities as it may help someone else.

    Sorry the other information did not help. When stuck, it helps to get a fresh look. The following has information about getting help for genealogy. One of the helps is a 20 minute live online consultation with a FamilySearch specialist. They might be able to steer you in the right direction.

    @donnamaybills1 We understand that you are looking for an obituary. It might be good if you could post what you do know about the person and the places you have looked. There is a great article in our FamilySearch Blog that gives some tips on how to search for an obituary. We want to help your experience with FamilySearch be a great one! https://www.familysearch.org/blog/en/tips-to-find-obituary-specific-person/. Another great place to search for obituaries is in our FamilySearch Research Wiki. There are great places here to search for United States Obituaries. https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/United_States_Obituaries
