Dear @cutlerjamesrichard1,
When asking questions about indexing, please provide the batch number. This helps us to answer your question more accurately.
Each indexing project has fields and instructions that have been determined by the owner of the record. FamilySearch does not determine what is included in an indexing project. Please follow the Project Instructions and Field helps regarding each project. Sometimes the Field Helps will say: "Do not include titles, terms, prefixes, or suffixes with the name."
After the indexing is finished and the record becomes searchable, those finding the record will see the image and the Jr, Sr, etc and be able to make their own judgements and findings.
Thank you for indexing. We will answer again if you want to provide the batch number.

The reason some projects do not have the fields you are askng for is simple. The contract between the owners of the documents and FamilySearch spell out exactly how the owner wants the indexing done. If the owners do not want fields for jr, sr etc then we do not have them. We have to also remember that their reasons for wanting the documents indexed are often not for family history but for their own use. We benefit because the documents are preserved and indexed which is always good for family history research.
