Hyperlink Record ID

It is useful to be able to use the "Copy ID" function and paste it into a spreadsheet as a Hyperlink. That way, one click on the spreadsheet opens a browser window for the record. For years, that copy/paste feature has worked, as long as you copied the ID from the "Family Members" section of the main page for an individual. Now it has stopped working. The "Copy ID" function pastes the ID okay, but not as a hyperlink. That is a very valuable function that I have used thousands of times. Is there any way to restore that feature?

A possible workaround is to paste the ID into your spreadsheet and combine it with the text https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/ . This will create the URL which you can paste into your browser to access the record with the relevant ID. A little cumbersome but better than nothing.

I have exactly the same comment and request! I use it very frequently, in exactly this way, and it is extremely inconvenient to see it scrapped without notice ...
