The past week or 2 I have not been able to open the FamilySearch main page, it just circles
In addition to the above problem, if I try to add a person from the source material , it just circles and I have to add the name manually. Also the dates do not move over when attaching marriage or death records. Nothing seems to work as it once did, very frustrating and time consuming.

I had the same problem and tried deleting cookies and turning off my ad blocker but that did not help. Then I deleted my browsing history which worked for a day or two but then the problem came back. Then I changed browsers from Firefox to Bing and that is working. I would rather use Firefox and keep checking back hoping the problem will be resolved but so far no luck.
So you might want to try a different browser and see if things will work better for you there.
