Have desktop and want to coordinate with laptop
Hello, I was given a laptop recently. My goal is to have the Family Search program on my desktop and my laptop. It is asking for a different username for the laptop. I really want to keep my username the same. Help please. Please email me how to fix this. I really appreciate the help. Thank you.

Family/search.org is a web based program. You access it through a browser on you computer. You use the same user name and password on both your desktop and laptop or even on a mobile device. The key is that all of your information is related to the same username and password. IF you use a different user name and password all the living information is maintained in a private space controlled by that username and password and could be duplicates.
Therefore please use the original username and password for each machine you work on.
