on your relative finder, it shows a lot of famous relatives, and tells me the relationship, however I would like to know each relationship , don;t know how to word this, but for example, Cordelia Pennell is my Grandmother, Charles Washington Wallace, My grandfather. It says Pres. George Washington is my 5th cousin 8x removed on my Wallace side, but you don't show me how he became my 5th cousin

this still doesn't show how I am related to the people in your Famous relatives. there are many that you show--I will pick one for now--Elvis Presley. Your info says he is my 9th Cousin, but it doesn;t show me all the relatives that lead to that. So I created a page for him, and tried to compare the surnames for him, to mine, and cannot find the connection. Your info states he is on my Pennell side--I traced the Pennell side for a long while, but still don't see a connection. It is like that for all the Famous Relatives your show as being related to me

    Check out this: https://www.familysearch.org/discovery/famousrelatives

When you click on each of the famous people, it shows you your relationships with words (4th cousin nine times removed) and it also shows you the relationship tree from you to them.

    Hi Susan,

You need to use the mouse to move around on the relationship chart, mostly to pull the chart down, so you can view the connections. The top of the chart shows the common ancestor.

Enjoy the activity about Famous relatives.
