    Robert,

    We have a huge amount of research guidance on our website. FamilySearch doesn't do research for registered users, but just by what you told us in your post, the best way to find the maiden name of Carrie Bradford would be to try to locate her marriage record or even birth, marriage or death records for any of their children, as they often have the mother's maiden name.

    This article has good information for doing genealogical research. And it also has links to other very helpful articles.

    We hope this helps.

    My method is to attach the wife and create her profile with only her given name. Then edit her profile to add her married name in the Alternate Name field. Often, that is enough for Family Tree hints to suggest historical records or even duplicate profiles with her maiden name.

    If not, my next step is to search FamilySearch Records for her, using her given name and no surname. But before I do the search I look at the images of the later census records for additional clues.

    When I do a quick search on Ancestry I see David married and living with Carrie in her Father's household in the 1900 census but I cannot find a way to get it to show in FamilySearch to link the record. In that record her father is listed as John R Lawyess but the info appears to be correct. Another place for you to look.

    Where were they living in 1920? Did they have any children? Finding the records of children - births, marriages, deaths - can help locate the maiden name of the mother.

    Thank you, Sister Hecker. I will now "chase" John R. Lawyess. There were no children in Carrie's marriage, but she might have siblings, and of course, a Mother. Blessings on you

    Andrew, thanks for the clue. I'll follow it up, together with the name Lawyess, and see where it takes me. I appreciate your responding. Make It A Great Day!

    That is a good suggestion, to open a file for her with her first name and see if other clue follow. Thanks.

    @RobertGBradford1

    You can see in the 1880 census for Carrie that she is in the household of her father and thus you can see her maiden name there.

    Good Work!
