    Not a Match.png

If Family Tree suggests that 2 persons are a match, but one actually is male and the other is female, the issue cannot be resolved in the Research Help section.

Go to the Tools section, and see that there is 1 possible duplicate. Click to open the dialog box which will allow you to mark the 2 IDs as not a match

Your question makes no sense to me. FamilySearch's Family Tree will not allow you to merge two profiles if the genders don't match. What is it exactly that you're trying to do?

This issue often occurs with multiple births, or closely spaced siblings.

The Research Help proposes a match but will not allow the user to merge without both sexes being the same.

The Research Help section will not allow the possible duplicate to be dismissed.

As far as I know, it can only be resolved in the Tools section.

If Family Tree is offering a hint, another path on the web interface is Research Helps: Show All then dismiss the hint.

Like Julia, I also thought the question does not make sense. So it is possible that the objective is to merge two profiles, one "Male", the other "Female". That's why I asked for a screenshot. A PID would suffice.

    https://beta.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/L7GL-HH2

This is an example from the beta.FamilySearch.org site.

The issue has been resolved & no longer appears in the “live” Family Tree.
