Why would information on my mother be blocked by the LDS organization?
I was looking for information on my mother one day, Mary Ann Sasser, and some basic info popped up with a tab that said "more information". I tapped on it and the next page said "this information has been blocked by the church of latter day saints. Any ideas why? How I circumvent this? Who specifically I need to speak with concerning this?

Hi Sam,
Thank you for the helper information. From what we can see your are just beginning your Family Tree. You will need to add your living parents, and possibly grandparents, until you get to the first deceased individual in each line. FamilySearch protects the privacy of the living, so you can see them only if you add them. Once you get to the first deceased individual in each line, you will be able to see all the ancestors already in Family Tree.
We are enclosing the article link about adding living relative to family tree, to help you understand the privacy policy.
Wishing you success in starting your branch of Family Tree.
Be sure to reach out anytime you have a question or concern.

Hi Sam,
We have been checking back of cases we replied to earlier. We did not give you a complete answer to your question. You do need to add the living individuals in each line, until you come to the first deceased individual, after that you will be able to see all the ancestors on that line already in Family Tree.
In some cases you will need to add a deceased persons information, and Create a record for them. Have you been able to add your parents, and grandparents to the Tree?
If you are not a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, you will find some information blocked, because of the sensitive nature of the information.
Wishing you well in growing your Family Tree.
