Multi-Player Mode for Youth

To bring friends and family members together, could you consider creating a feature to have two or more people log on to the same indexing session? Where they can chat and work together to decipher the names.

And possibly a family tree session where two people can see together their common ancestors.

The youth love to chat with each other while they play video games, so making it more interactive with their peers could go a long way.

Thank you for all your help.

    Hi @williameliasday1

Thanks so much for sharing your idea in the general Community category. Were you aware, however, that when you have a great idea to share, it is best not to use the Q&A section of the Community, but to go to Ideas at the left which has the light bulb icon.

This is the best place to provide feedback about possible enhancements that can improve using FamilySearch programs and features. You may want to review the following knowledge article about providing your feedback and ideas which is found in the FamilySearch Help Center, but which can be accessed through the link we have provided.

You idea sounds like great fun! We are aware that many individuals are part of Indexing Groups who work on specific projects together, and there is a messaging feature for groups that are created so that individuals can communicate about the projects they choose. This additional article explains about how to create an indexing group, and you might want to share this information with other family members to create such a group for your entire family.

Thank you for your indexing efforts which help to provide sources that can verify life events and family relationships for your ancestors.
