Reference to "World" as a residence in Other Information
The Church recently released certain Church Census Records (Worldwide) 1914-1960. Hints are given in FamilySearch to attached these source records for 1950, 1955, and 1960. See, for example, the record of Russell Earl Haymond, 13 September 1948 – 6 July 1994 • KW4Y-WR8. When these sources are attached, FamilySearch automatically adds a reference to Other Information on the Details page, which shows that in 1950, 1955 and 1960 the individual resided in the "World" per the census.
These references are annoying and cumbersome. "World" conveys meaningless location information. This information is being added to every Church member's record as these sources are attached. Can a general cleanup be performed to eliminate these nonsensical references from Other Information while retaining these attached sources under Sources?

Hi @DJAhlstrom
We understand from your comment that you are personally upset when you see "World" listed in the other information field for Church Census Records that have recently been made available as Record Hints for ancestors who were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
We appreciate your concern, but surely you are aware that our Church is a Worldwide organization with units in countries throughout most parts of the World. We appreciate your concern but want to confirm that you are not using an Add arrow when attaching these sources that would move information into the Other Information field that would otherwise not appear on your ancestor's page.
We have verified that for many of our ancestors who have these sources attached that there is nothing additional in the Other Information field. Whether that is because the person who attached the record removed the unneeded Other Information, or because it is available through an Add arrow when working with the Source Linker that was not used by the person attaching the source, it can be removed.
To remove anything in the Other Information please use the Edit option for the information. Adding a good reason statement is helpful during this process. The following knowledge article from our Help Center should be helpful as you need to correct or remove something from the Other Information field.
If you wish to have sources that do not provide anything in the Other Information field, we can appreciate that desire and suggest that it might be helpful to post that suggestion in the Ideas category in the Community. That is the best place to provide your feedback which you feel will enhance FamilySearch programs and features for everyone. This additional article explains how to provide helpful feedback:
We hope this information has been helpful.
