US Military Service Number

I think it'd be useful to index the service number as well as the already requested information. That way, if the various name spellings, and the possibility of the individual having served under multiple branches will come up as hints in the tree. Being able to search for the service number would allow more accurate records to populate. It would also greatly reduce the chances of the wrong person being attached to the tree because they have the same name, and approximate same birthday.

We don't have the capability to search for things as precise as service numbers. I don't think that Fold3 has that precise of a search engine either and that is probably where a lot of these images end up. That is probably why they don't get indexed.
