Indexing Two Names on One Line
How would one index two names on one line? For example, my batch said something like "John + Joe Smith", but with the + kind of like a greek alpha (α) or mathematical proportional symbol (∝). Having to displace all previously entered information (it looks like I was doing a partially completed batch) seems tedious. I think there should be an option to insert an entry in between existing ones.

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
The area in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, where you have submitted this matter, that you have raised, that is half 'Question' and half 'Suggested Enhancement', is in the "Ideas" (ie. 'Feedback') for "indexing" in 'FamilySearch'.
As such ...
Can I humbly suggest that, you consider REPOSTING / RESUBMITTING this post of yours in the "Q and A" Section, under the 'Category' of "Indexing".
As you may find that you will get an answer to both, your 'Question'; and, 'Suggested Enhancement".
In the least, you will most likely get a QUICKER response ...
"Q and A" Section.
'Category' = Indexing

I hope this helps, somewhat.

Hi Michael. Please do as Brett suggests and post this on the Indexing Q&A Forum. When you do, please Share your Batch information (click on 3rd Horizontal Icon from the Right to see how). That symbol you're wondering about could be a cursive ampersand (&). For accurate help, we need to see your batch. Also, there is a way to add one or more Entries wherever you wish (7th icon from the left - the one with the + sign).

I have seen on some projects that the instruction for that situation is to enter "John OR Joe Smith".
