Norge—Tinglysningskort, 1640–1903 This is the record I am working on.

I don't know hoe to index a probate year with the same year but two days and months. I don't know what a "t" means before a name. If a wfe is listed 1st before the husband is she the Hovedperson?

Go to the Batch button on the top left side. Click on that then go down to settings. In settings you can set the instructions to be in English for all projects or just for the one you are working on.

We do not know what that mark is for either. At a guess it may be that they are members of the church there.

    Thank you for asking!

WOW! What a blessing you have been. I had no idea of that feature.

    • The Symbol is explained as such: The name of the principal person was often indicated by a cross (†) symbol, which was often used to indicate the deceased in bygdebøker (Norwegian local history books).

    THANK YOU!😀
