Memories Max File Size
Currently your max file size limit for memories is 15 meg. This is very tiny. I wish to share my life stories with my family and descendants but I'm limited by a very small file size. My suggestion is to raise the limit to 100 meg or a half gig. What you are forcing all of us to do is break up our memories into small pieces to get around your limitation. But what's the affect? We still upload the same amount of data (you don't save any disk space on your servers) but we end up creating a poor user experience for our family members.
Note: I'm a software engineer and develop websites (formerly worked for Ancestry.com). I'm very familiar with this topic. 15 meg is much too small for today's documents.

I support this suggestion. I am in the process of creating biographies of my ancestors that include photos.
Each bio will be a PDF formatted for printing, my idea being that anyone can download and print them to create a hard-copy book.
But as it stands with the 15mb limit I have to split the PDFs into Part 1, Part 2, etc which (as the previous poster mentions) creates a poor user experience.
Please increase the size limit...100mb would be really nice (higher mb even nicer!).

I like this idea very much as well. It is not just pdf files which must be kept unnecessarily small. I have 2 audio files my cousin recorded of our mothers (sisters) talking about their childhood. One is 9.5 MB and the other is 24.1 MB. Needless to say I cannot upload the larger file so it will likely become lost. I hate breaking the larger file up, although that is the logical thing to do.
