Should US Missouri Marriage batches be indexed that have husband & wife names with a marriage date?

The instructions for US Missouri Marriages say not to index pages with just the couple's names and a page number. I have noticed pages like that which also include a marriage date. Should those pages be indexed?

The pages that have a date must be indexed. I wish I could find the previous thread where this was confirmed. This search engine is virtually impossible to use. I know it discussed on August 14th. Maybe someone else will have better luck.

    Found it:

We have an update on this question. It has been reviewed and the instructions are changed. This is what we are asked to do with this batch.

" This batch should be indexed. It is not an index with just names and a page number. It also has the marriage date. The PI under What to Remember, bullet point 1, says that documents may include registers, with multiple marriages recorded on each page. That is what this batch includes."

    Please index this batch.

I have been reviewing these batches. Some do not have dates and I read that these should be marked as no extractible date. I have come across many of these batches that have been indexed. What should I do with them? It seems a shame to delete all the work people have done on them.

Also, how do we handle the family history book that has popped up? Do we skim the pages for any marriages that took place in Missouri?

Hi @Jackie Harral. If someone has indexed an image that has names and only a page number, then as a reviewer, you must mark is No, No Extractable Data in Step 1 and delete all the data. It is sad, but, the people need to read the project instructions.

I don't have access to the Missouri marriages, but, if the instructions say not to index family histories, then you would also mark those NED.
