Why does a New Discovery page not show?
Some people don't have the New Discovery Page attached to their Details page. Is there a reason why> Examples Clarence Helon Butler born 7 December 1919 died 18 November 2018 LXP6-BDV and Lucile Parker born 3 October 1922 died 10 June 2019 LXJ3-546. Both of these people were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in their lifetimes.

Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Just in passing ...
Please be aware, that NOT all "Deceased" individuals/persons, in 'Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', yet have a "Discovery Page".
And, that the "Discovery Pages", in "AncestorsFamilySearch_org", of 'FamilySearch', have been CREATED by 'FamilySearch' (ie. the "System"), to enable such individuals/persons, with "Discovery Pages", in "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', to be FOUND in/during a "Search" of the INTERNET, by ANYBODY; and, lead them to "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch'.
Which, will unfortunately; thereby, create a 'plethora', of MOSTLY, New; and, Inexperienced, Users/Patrons, in "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch' - and, them most likely, 'inadvertently', 'wreaking havoc', in "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch'.
As an aside ...
And, NOT that I would recommend, ANY Ancestor, in "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', having a "Discovery Page", in "AncestorsFamilySearch_org", of 'FamilySearch' ...
IF, you 'desperately' (and, I mean, 'desperately') WANT one of your Ancestors, who DOES NOT have. a "Discovery Page", in "AncestorsFamilySearch_org", 'FamilySearch', to have such; THEN, I believe that you CAN initiate one, for them.
But ...
That Said ...
Personally, I would recommend, ANY Ancestor, in "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', having a "Discovery Page", in "AncestorsFamilySearch_org", of 'FamilySearch' ...
I believe, that the way, to initiate such, is by:
(1) FIRSTLY ... Being "Signed Into", the "Family Tree" Part. of 'FamilySearch"; and,
(2) SECONDLY ... In a NEW 'Tab'/'Window', using this URL ... https://ancestors.familysearch.org/en/[PID]
.... Where, the "[PID]", at the "End", is the particular 'FamilySearch Identifier' (PID), of the Ancestors concerned.
.... With that ALL in place, just press "Enter".
.... And, a "Discovery Page", will be CREATED.
Now ...
That Said ...
I am not aware/certain, whether or not, such "Discovery Pages", created in this manner, WILL be PERMANENT, in "AncestorsFamilySearch_org", of 'FamilySearch'; but, at least, you have a "Discovery Page", for you Ancestor, that you can "Print", there and then.
I suspect, that "Discovery Pages", created in this manner, WILL need to be 'ratified' (ie. 'Accepted'/'Authorised'), in "AncestorsFamilySearch_org", of 'FamilySearch'; BEFORE, being made available for "Public" access/viewing - such may take time, maybe a couple of Weeks.
Just my thoughts.
Good Luck.
I hope that this helps/assists, somewhat.
Brett
