joe perkins tree
Names have been removed from my tree. Joe Perkins - my dad = erick Perkins - his dad is John Luther Perkins - his dad is John Albert Alexander Perkins - his dad is Reuben Perkins. All of this is correct and in my tree. But for some re4ason, the following have been removed from my tree: Reuben's dad = William Perkins 1770 - 1823 - his dad is Moses Perkins (wife Sebret) - his dad is Richard II and Richard II's dad is Richard Perkins. Also John Parkins was listed as Richard's dad. Can these names be restored to my family tree?
@joe perkins_1 There are a number of answers on your other post on the same topic. https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/98903/people-have-been-deleted-from-my-family-tree#latest0
We are still accepting phone calls at FamilySearch support. You are welcome to call 1-866-406-1830 and ask a missionary to look at your tree using the Helper function. We certainly want to help you restore your father and other family members to your tree.0
Using Latest changes will often show you the option of restoring the changes that were made that are incorrect.
- If the word Restore appears on the far right, you can easily undo a change:
- Click Restore.
- On the popup, review the information you are about to restore.
- Click Restore.
If you need to find the person in order to go to their latest changes, go to recents.
Recents is a feature in the Tree views and on the Person Page. Recents includes these items:
- A data entry box to find a person by name or ID.
- A link to the starting person.
- A link to the root person, if the root and starting person are different.
- A link to Add Unconnected Person.
The list contains the 50 most recent people you viewed in Family Tree.
We are sorry that you have had precious ancestors removed from your tree. Make sure to message the person that changed the information. They need to know that your research shows (and family knowledge) is different from theirs. You may be able to help each other with your and their information. Good luck.0
