Real versus Census age
If a person's birthday was from midsummer to the end of the year, then the age will be off a year in the England and Wales Census data. The birth year was calculated (prior to 1939) from the age listed. Since the census was usually taken in April (occasionally as late as June), then anyone who had a birthday after the census day WILL be a year off.
Can the computer program be set to accept a Census birth year within 1 year of the actual birthdate without noting this as an inconsistent source?

Hi @GrahamJanet3 , we try to account for that already. Can you please provide a personId so we can look into it closer?
