Inherent problem in places database, 19th century places not recognized!
See LZF4-65J, Peter Joseph Reder Jr., birthplace Bollendorf, Bitburg, Rhineland, Prussia (historically accurate jurisdictions), and Quality Score is 'Not Availalbe at This Time'.
If the place of birth is changed to the current jurisdictions 'Bollendorf, Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany', now DQS is available.
Most likely 'Prussia' is not recognized as 'Germany'. This is not the only instance. I include here a link to a discussion re 'Minsk, Russia' versus 'Minsk, Belarus':
And also apparently the Austrian and Hungarian empires re the modern place names:

Just another user here with some comments. First of all, the Places database is far from complete. There are hundreds of thousands of places missing and hundreds of thousands of places that have entries that are not quite right. So that is one part of some of the interesting things we see with the Data Quality Checker.
The other part is that the Data Quality Checker is still quite limited in its coverage with both time and place. The developers are slowly expanding its coverage as they working on tuning the algorithms behind it to keep its results useful for each time and place included.
Regarding Peter's birthplace not being a time or place currently in the Data Quality Score routine, it hard to say whether it is a time and place just not included in the routine yet because they just haven't expanded that far or if it is a Places database problem. Either way, it could be a long time before it's working. Since the DQS is either an interesting tool, a bit of fun, or a major annoyance depends of your point of view but whatever your point of view is not a critical part of working in Family Tree, I would suggest entering Peter's birthplace in its correct historical form then, if necessary, linking it to the closest correct standard available even if that standard is less complete than the full name.
But to move on, there is a clear problem in the Places database you may want to work on getting corrected. Even to me who knows nothing about German places and their history, it appears that Bollendorf is a mess.
The goal with the Places database is to have each square foot of earth labeled with its proper name in all its proper historical time periods (within reason and usefulness). Here is Bullendorf in the database:
First problem is that it only has time periods of 1822 to 1871 and 1974 to today. I assume it existed long before 1822 and between 1871 and 1974. If Bollendorf has entries for those other time periods, then they are not in the database correctly. Any one place should have just one "folder" and have all of its time period jurisdictions included in that folder, that is, as time period tabs on that one place.
Secondly, each of the items that show up in the search have duplicate time periods and I cannot see a bit of difference between them. They should be merged.
Thirdly, the jurisdictions don't make sense. The worse case is
which is the town of Bollendorf located within the municipality of Bollendorf located within the hamlet of Bollendorf which is in the district of Bitburg. If there is both a town and a municipality named Bollendorf, both do need to be in the place name. But you can't have either a town or a municipality inside a hamlet.Whatever went awry here, it probably happened to hundreds of places in the same general vicinity. A Places database editor, of which there are not all that many, with expertise in Germany probably has months of work here to fix the database. I hope the people in charge do see you post and can find someone to take care of what is probably a massive job.

For the issues with the places side of Bollendorf, we have cleaned up the many duplicates, and missing periods. You can now see all the historical Periods at:
Or
You should see historic periods for 716 inclusive to present day.

FYI if you see other places that need correction, you always use this method:
