Unless it prevents people from applying children born in the 1860's to parents who lived in the 1670's, or prevents them from assuming everyone in England and the colonies with the same name must be the same person, or can correct Family Search transcription errors or at least provide the source of Family Search's data when Family Search neglects to do so, than it is completely useless and is just more noise on the page.
