Problems with the Memories page
When the Memories page is displayed in tab(A) it shows a collection of single memories.
[I'm using a right-handed mouse on a desk-top Windows 10 computer; i'm not in any Family Group].
[Before] A right-click on a single memory displayed the option 'Open Link in Tab',
which would open the single memory in Tab(B); Tab(A) would still be open.
[Now] Only a left-click on the single memory will display the single memory over the contents of Tab(A).
Tab(A) heading does not change - it still shows what Memories displayed in Tab(A).
That single memory now shown in Tab(A) has the option (via the 3-dot drop down menu)
to 'Open in New Tab'. Using that option opens the same single memory in another Tab(B)
with the correct Tab(B) heading; that page does not have the 'Open in New Tab' option.
It does not have the left-arrow to return to the Memories page, or the < > to access
the previous/next single memory.
I don't like how the single memory page is [Now] displayed, having to click on an icon to
read any comments. The single memory page does not have the right-click image options that are on the Memories page. It is more useful to have Memories still open in its own Tab, and the single memory in its own Tab.
Can it be changed back to the [Before] behavior?

Sorry for the frustrations @LGWiseman
I'm struggling to understand your challenge. Could you perhaps share a screen shot or two to help me better see the problem. Also, could you please break this down into separate issues (if you feel there is more than one issue). Sorry, and thanks for helping clarify!

My ancestor's page: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/KW8M-JPJ
About….Details….Sources(93)….Colloborate(8)….Memories(183)….Timeline….Ordinances
Click on Memories(183), which opens in a Tab of the browser; for discussion purposes call that Tab(A), which has 'Andrew Janus Hansen (1852-' in that Tab(A) heading. There are 183 individual memories.
Now you can view the 'Memories' page; 'Memories' is underlined. It displays some of the 183 individual memories (small 'm') - scroll down to see them all. Before the recent changes by -FamilySearch- i could right click on any individual memory and i could display that memory in a different Tab, for discussion purposes call that Tab(B). The Memories page would still be available in Tab(A). If i returned to the Memories page in Tab(A) i could again right click on a different individual memory and open that in another Tab(D). So 3 browser tabs open at the same time: Memories, individual memory 1, individual memory 2. The Tab headings correspond to what is being displayed.
NOW you can only left-click on an individual memory to display it, which displays in Tab(A). The Memories page now is not available at the same time. The individual memory has the option to 'Open in New Tab'. Using that 'Open in New Tab' option shows the same individual memory in another Tab(B), with a tab heading that corresponds to the individual memory. It does not have the left arrow to return to the Memories page, or the < > previous/next capability. You can select Tab(A) which has the individual memory, and use the left arrow to again display 'Memories' in Tab(A). So that is a work-around to get the Memories page and an individual memory page loaded in individual tabs - Tab(A) and Tab(B). It would be better to be able to right-click on one of the images in the 'Memories' page and have it open in its own Tab, like it used to do.
Now to view comments you have to click on the (i) link, then the (comments) symbol, which now displays comments along the right side of the page. That shortens the length of the comment line to about 20% of what it used to be. It would be far simpler to just display the comments along the bottom of the page, like it used be before these latest changes. For instance, the narrow column doesn't display the a diagram showing a seating arrangement of those in a picture, it just wraps it around making it worthless.

Good find @LGWiseman
I tried it out, and I see what you mean. I can open individual memories in new tabs when I access my own memories (from the main header select Memories, then select Gallery). But it does not work that way in the Person Page Memories.
I'll make a note of this. Thanks for clarifying!

Thank you again for sharing this feedback. I have placed this on our Known Issues announcement page.
The Engineers are aware of this and are working on it.

I know it's been awhile since you posted about this issue, but I wanted to share that updates have been made.
If you are viewing the Memories Gallery from a Person's Page, you can select an individual Memory. Once you click a Memory, in the upper right-hand corner, the 3 dots allow you to select the option to "Open in New Tab."
Unfortunately, while in the Person's Page Gallery, you still cannot right-click to open that Memory in a New Tab. You can only select that option after you select a Memory.
Thank you again for your feedback. Please share any additional concerns.
