You'll find the contact address on https://www.sz.ch/staatskanzlei-departemente/bildungsdepartement/amt-fuer-kultur/staatsarchiv/staatsarchiv.html/72-416-387-380-2480-2531-4916 (German only). If you don 't read German I recommend to copy&paste to https://www.deepl.com/translator ... doesn't translate entire pages, but is much better than google-translate.

In case you are planning further discussions on specific questions ...  I had proposed a structure for discussion titles on https://community.familysearch.org/de/discussion/129680/what-title-would-be-best-for-postings and hope for many opinions: what do you think about this? Alternatively you could just adopt this format in your future postings 😉.

WSeelentag, thank you for your answer and the links. I emailed the Schwyz canton archives, but no answer yet. However, your link to their website was most helpful. After browsing around the site for a long time I finally found the answer to my question and as a result I will do temple work for six people. After more searching on the site I discovered a section where I can see death notices for various people with surnames matching my Schwyz surnames. That was a very nice find.
