Would You Answer A Question?
As leaders in the British Isles Group, we are wondering what most of you are using on our page? The Research Links? Family Search Blog? Family Search Wiki? Roots Tech 2022? Learning Resources? New Historical Records? Do the informational videos or posts we add to in the discussions help you in your research?
We would very much like to hear back from you.

Hi. It shows how neglected many of these groups have become. Four days and mine is the first response!
I think these pages (in general) will be used for a variety of reasons, but many groups (not necessarily the British Isles and country-specific ones) should now be phased-out, as their purpose is duplicated under one of the "main" Community headings - Family Tree, Search, or even General Questions.
Sticking to your main question, however, I find I use this group mainly in an effort to pass my 35 years + experience of dealing with England & Scotland (more broadly "British Isles") records by answering several of the questions raised.
I certainly don't use this / these pages as a "springboard" to get me elsewhere on the website. Personally, (and without wishing to sound arrogant - as we never stop learning) I do not refer to the videos too often, nor other links to informative material.
If I wish to read new Blog items - including those on new / updated online collections - I go there separately of coming here.
Okay, not "British Isles group specific", but I recently joined the https://community.familysearch.org/en/group/14-belgium-luxembourg-and-the-netherlands group and was very pleased at the help I received regarding my research into a Netherlands family - an area in which I had very little prior experience. Obviously, this would illustrate the usefulness of this group to those not too familiar with aspects of British Isles research.
Hope these comments may be of some use to you. Thank you all for your work within this (and the "England") group. Graham's experience has been of great help in providing advice to me, and many others.

@Paul W I appreciate your comments. I do appreciate your input in the discussions and I couldn't agree more that @Graham Buckell is very helpful in the discussions.
I am happy that the Belgium-Luxembourg and Netherlands group has been helpful to you in your research.
The FamilySearch Community is ever evolving and it will be interesting to see what things will change or remain as they continue to upgrade it and improve it. I do believe, the groups are here to stay. The General Questions, Family Tree and Search are as well part of the Community as you know and right now it is getting a lot of attention for helping others, but hopefully as time goes by, the forum will start sending people to the groups and it's focus may be something different. We shall sit back and see what the future holds.
I have come to the conclusion from my recent training, that we have about 90% lurkers and 3-5% contributors. My hope is that those lurking are finding what they need in the discussions, research links or the videos that we have put into the discussions and perhaps that is why they are not asking questions. We always hope that more will ask questions and more will participate with information, but until then, we will continue to add information that we feel might be of use to those who may be new to research or not as experienced as you are and would like the challenge of fishing for their ancestors. We do appreciate those, like yourself, who have many years of experience that come on and help as well. Our group members are a valuable part of our group. You have much to offer. Now, we just need some questions asked 😊
