Keetje M A A T
My direct ancestor was Keetje MAAT (LTBH-25X) who was born in 1552 in Sarrebourg, Moselle, Lorraine, France and died in 1590. This name seems Dutch/Flemish to me. In looking at FamilySearch for other people who have this same surname, most of them lived around Den Haag. How could I find Keetje Maat's family in the Netherlands and make a solid connection. The records in France do not tell us who her parents were and where they came from. Any ideas?
